Be The Change Mural
2014
"Be The Change" was completed in 2014 for a local Elementary school in my area. I was asked to paint an inspirational message to the kids and include some of the local fauna and wildlife. Working with the school principle, we decided to include the Blue Heron, Japanese cherry blossoms, and lavender among other options. She decided the message would be "Be the Change You Wish to See in the World" with the tagline "Si, se puede, yes I can" as a tribute to the current political messaging.
School of Rock Mural

The School of Rock is a music academy for children and adults located in Sonoma County. They offer individual and group lessons to aspiring musicians, complete with group performances at local events and venues. The busy street they resided on offered plenty of foot and vehicle traffic, but the gray brick underneath the windows wasn't turning heads or attracting eyes. The owners requested a bright and exciting mural with a few personal components.

Private Gate Sunrise Mural
2015
A local Sonoma County resident lived in a beautiful rural area with gorgeous morning sunrises. She loved the view from her backyard of the soft purple mountains, hilly meadows, and vineyards. However, the gate she had installed for privacy and protection blocked the neighborhood from enjoying the same view, as they once had. She asked me to paint a new view for her neighbors that would light up their mornings.
Kool Katz Guide
2020
Author of "The Kool Katz Guide to Slap Bass", Justyn Delbridge, requested cute cat illustrations to demonstrate lessons and teachings in his children's musical instruction book. Due to printing restrictions, the cat illustrations were designed in grayscale, adding an extra challenge to the design and illustration process. Utilizing my color theory and composition education, I was able to produce the desired result and contribute multiple adorable cat illustrations to the publication.
