INSTAGRAM AND TIKTOK REELS
Vertical short-form videos created for Instagram and TikTok to showcase featured products currently available at ReMART, attract new customers from the surrounding area, and develop an online community in addition to the current local community. I accomplished these videos by recording product and store footage on a company-provided DSLR camera and iPhone 11 cell phone, editing in CapCut, Instagram, or TikTok.
INSTAGRAM POSTS
The focus of Instagram posts in this social media strategy is to provide a visual catalog of products, inform the general public of the company mission, and foster a connection with the local community interested in supporting small businesses. Designs were created utilizing a variation of techniques and programs including Adobe Express and Canva templates, as well as original designs.
EBAY LISTING IMAGES
Many ReMART products for sale on the retail floor were stored in brown boxes with cryptic labeling that failed to describe the look and feel of the product contained within them. Many in-store shoppers would either briefly read the description with confusion, or walk right past the product altogether. My solution to this was to research the manufacturer numbers and other printed information to pinpoint the appropriate details. From there, I edited photographs I had taken of the products with the information I researched and stock imagery to create a comprehensive visual graphic to both be printed onto the box in-person and posted to the ebay listing. It took me only minutes to design these graphics utilizing Adobe Express.
PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION VIDEOS
ReMART customers often had similar questions regarding products sold by the company. Naturally, it took time and resources from ReMART staff to respond to these inquiries. For particular products that had repeat questions, I demonstrated, recorded, and edited videos showing the functionality of the products to ease customer worries without the need for direct conversation.
